Ever evolving. That's how I would describe Coffee Girls Creative Company. What started as an outlet to share my love of crochet, moved to sewing masks with my mom in 2020, and now, in 2024, focusing on new items -- STICKERS AND MORE!
First - a name change. Originally called "Fifth and Mill", I wanted our "new" store to reflect my two apprentices, [a.k.a. my daughters, Payton (8) and Sydney (7)]. Their love of art and craft has been evident since their first finger paintings as toddlers. I look forward to adding their artwork to my store over time. Maybe it's too simple or whimsical for some. For me, it's an opportunity to teach business skills and for my children to grow and share something they love.

I remember oh-so-well sitting next to my grandmother in her living room, taking step-by-step directions on how to crochet. We started with pop-can rings, moved up to pot-holders, and eventually on to dish rags. Those basic items gave me the foundation to hone a craft that has been passed down in my family for generations. I cherish the pieces I have from my great-grandmother and grandmother (who crocheted up until 97 years young!).
Over the years I have progressed to blankets and doilies, but it was the birth of our two daughters, and a break from the corporate world, that made me break out the crochet hooks and start creating again. What started as mere fun, has turned into a most-enjoyable mom-boss business. I love it, and hope you will enjoy these handcrafted pieces made especially for you and or the little ones in your life.
