My name is Sarah and I've got the mouth of a sailor and a love of letters. My interest in typography and hand lettering has been with me since I was a kid; however, it blossomed into a full-fledged love affair while working on my Bachelor's degree in Architecture at UW-Milwaukee. Combine that with my potty mouth, and Voila! Filthy Freehand was born!

I make hand-lettered greeting cards and posters that usually contain a vulgar message of some sort. I also provide envelope addressing services, logo design, calligraphed invitations, chalkboards, hand-painted signs, and whatever else you can come up with.

I live in Milwaukee with my husband and our three-year-old son. I am a sucker for good whiskey and over-easy eggs.
