Thank you Charlotte. Damascene jewely was better & prettier than I anticipated from the photo. Very minimal wear, so no concern about someone seeing the back of the jewelry. Worth the price I paid for very pretty pieces. No markings on the jewelry and I am not qualified to determine the metals or origin. Very easy to convert the scew on earrings to pierced earwires (but I will have to wear without the decorative screw-on part).

Finding a niche on Etsy for my vintage jewelry and accessory passion.

I've found a niche on Etsy to share my passion for vintage jewelry, vintage fashion, and vintage accessories.

I am always on the hunt for vintage jewelry and vintage fashion items. I like to share my passion and have collected vintage jewelry and fashion since I was 12.

My love of vintage and antiques were inherited from my Mother (whose picture I use as my shop icon). I wear her Coro V for Victory brooch on my blue jean jacket.

I've lived all over the USA. I have spent most of my time in Ohio and have also spent several years out west in Oregon and Alaska where I sold at flea markets and country fairs.

I moved back to Ohio in the 80's to help out my elderly parents and started teaching in Cleveland. I also continued to hunt for vintage and antiques. I now sell at house sales and flea markets in Ohio.

What best sums me up is that I'm like a magpie bird, I like shiny things.

Now that I am retired from teaching I volunteer at our national park in Ohio (yes, we have one) at the environmental education center.

My shop is in my basement. I'm in a little room that gets sun in the morning. It's pretty grim in the winter! I have my computer, printer, stereoscope and storage area set up in some semblance of order.

I love to bargain and I also don't mind selling to other dealers. In fact I always wished I could be a picker for someone - I just don't know how.
