A Seedling in the Wind
Growing up as a dependent in the U.S. Air Force, my family and I moved every 2 years. We lived in Hawaii, Guam, Japan and across the United States but overall mostly in California. Having very little roots and nowhere to really call home as a child, I felt as if I were a seedling floating about in the wind. When we retired and settled in the San Francisco Bay Area, my seedling was finally able to softly root itself and grow. After many, many years, I have found that my interests as a child of creating things and watching my mom create Japanese dolls, flower arrange and crochet, and living in a different country has exposed me to the sights, sounds and aromas that I would not have otherwise experienced. All of these life experiences have molded me and continue to mold me into who I am today and what I see as treasures thus can offer to you today in my etsy stores.
