Welcome to Fire and Steel Forge Blacksmith Shop

I've been offering my wrought iron door hardware and decorative iron work for many years online as brokenanvil. I started blacksmithing in 1989. Fire and Steel Forge Blacksmith Shop was established in 2002 and I have been in business since creating authentic period style hardware and decorative iron work, hand crafted and forged with the skills of the Old World Craftsmen. Each item is individually hand crafted by me in my shop located in Bethlehem Village, Connecticut.

My early American colonial hinges, handles, hooks, pulls and hardware show the detail and traditional styling that is true of hand crafted period hardware. I offer restoration consultation services to Historic and Preservation Societies as well as homeowners who want to preserve the Historical integrity of their Colonial Homes.
