Hi, I'm Jess! I started designing cards after my husband's cancer diagnosis in 2017. I noticed the fear of saying the wrong thing in important moments can often keep us from saying anything at all. I wanted to help bridge that gap, so I used our motto "laughter is the best medicine" to design cards that make connecting simple during the good, bad, and messy moments of life.

Hi, I'm Jess!
I started designing cards after my husband's cancer diagnosis in 2017. I wanted to create cards that used our motto, "laughter is the best medicine" to support the cancer community. My business, Better + Co., grew to include cards for all seasons and became Five Dot Post in 2021. My sweet husband passed away from cancer last year. Tommy is the reason I started making cards and I will be forever grateful for his belief in me. He encouraged me every day, had faith when I had none, and is the reason I will keep living big the way he did and would want me to. Thank you all for supporting us and holding us these past four years. My mission is to keep us connected and feel supported during the good, bad, and messy moments of life. A portion of all profits is given to esophageal cancer research in Tommy's honor.
