I have received this item. Although it is well made, there is no room to put an item inside as the interior padding prevents so. This plus almost an entire month wait to receive makes this difficult giving as a present

I'm sorry you weren't completely happy with you order! There is about 1/2" of height inside. I tried to show that clearly in the photos. Made-to-order items do take a while. I will try and think of a way to make the shipping information listed even clearer. I'm sorry it didn't come as quickly as you'd hoped!
