FloatForward

After a few years of encouragement from my friends, and realizing my house is not getting any bigger, I launched my own little Etsy shop. So many crafts, hobbies and arts interest me and, generally, I'm always learning a new one!

The first piece of furniture I remember painting was when I was in high school, it was an old side table from my grandfather. I still have that piece, and it's on the to-do list to strip the years and layers of paint it has endured throughout the years. That first piece spiraled into my near-obsession with old/vintage furniture that no one else wants. Usually these pieces are covered in ugly paint or are scratched and damaged, and SCREAMING for a makeover. That's what I love- seeing what it CAN be and giving it a new life!
