It all started with an embroidery canvas...
No money to decorate? No problem!
When I moved in with my SO last October I wanted to decorate the house right away, just like I've always dreamed but unfortunately my budget was very tight. I decided that I would make my own decorations since I already knew how to sew. My friends absolutely loved my paintings and decoration ideas and started to order some from me. With my wedding coming up and the finances getting a bit tight, I decided that I would create a store with handmade cross-stitch and embroidery projects so I could share my art with the world and possibly inspire other people into doing the same.
The name floof is very important to me, it was my first voice-over character back in 2019 and I was so excited about it that my friends started calling me Floof.
When I moved in with my now husband in October 2020, I immediately wanted to decorate our home just like I had always imagined. Since our budget was very tight, I decided to create my own decorations instead. I already knew how to cross stitch and have always loved the pixel-style art, so it felt like the perfect way to bring my ideas to life.
My friends loved the pieces I was making and soon started asking me to create designs for them too. That encouragement eventually inspired me to open this shop and share my patterns with others who love creating cozy, colorful spaces through cross stitch.
Most of the cross stitch patterns you'll find around here are themed around traveling, because I love to travel and it's one of my biggest inspirations.
