My order arrived promptly and well-protected. The portrait is beautifully carved and colored. The Etsy listing did not do it justice. The artist clearly has an eye for detail, not just in terms of their art but also by going out of their way to elevate the experience; they reached out shortly after I placed the order, included a bonus portrait of Toni Morrison, and even packaged it in block printed wrapping. Eleanor has found a place of pride in the alcove I call the Eleanor Roosevelt Library, and I will cherish it for years to come.

Beautiful! I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I love it.

The baron was securely packaged, shipped & delivered speedily-- but more importantly the baren itself...!! Is exactly as shown in the listening but all the more beautiful in person. The weight is perfect + despite having hands on the smaller side, the grip feels like it'd be comfortable to handle even for longer printing sessions, especially as I wont have to put so much of my own (lack of) muscle into burnishing. As a new printmaker I struggled to justify the expense to myself as I dont feel skilled enough... But the design of this specific baren screamed my name and now I have no regret investing in such an awe inspiring tool & craft where the very tools themelves bring me so much joy to use on top of everything else. Can't wait to use this baren & don't anticipate I'll feel any differently any time soon, if ever. Thank you!

This is the single most beautiful piece of art I own in my house every time I use it brings me more joy then you can imagine! This makes printing a dream both ergonomically and aesthetically!
