Sewing is my passion and I found that making my own clothes got a bit tiresome - and my closets got too full. I needed projects that were relatively quick to do but yet satisfied my creative urges. Scarves were the perfect fit! All too quickly I realized that I wanted to make more than scarves. I added themed pillowcases, table runners, placements, quilted items, wine themed items , tote bags and purses, lunch bags and my latest collection is pyjama bottoms for children and adults. I even have "Mommy and Me" and "Daddy and Me" versions! Some of these pyjamas also have matching dog bandanas and/or pillowcases.
Most people who sew tend to accumulate fabric and eventually your “stash” becomes unwieldy. In my case that is a true understatement! That was my justification – I could sew with the beautiful fabrics I had on hand thereby satisfying my creative urges and also the need to use some of the fabric boxed up in my sewing room. That cemented the idea – I started investigating what opening a shop entailed and found that it was relatively painless with Etsy. I opened on March 20, 2014 and within a day I had my first sale. Talk about sealing the deal !!!!

It will always be ONLY ME that creates these items. My fabric is purchased from many sources within Canada although some of it may originate in the USA. I am always drawn to fabric for the colour and design. Where it originates from doesn't matter to me. i have developed personal relationships with some suppliers so sometimes I have been able to obtain some really unique fabrics at amazing prices. That helps keep my prices as low as possible. Quality is HUGE with me so you will always see details during the construction process that ensure they look professional and are durable items.
