Do you accept payment plans?
Sure do! On pieces that are $40 or more I can do a two time payment plan (for example, for a pair of $40 earrings, you pay $20 to hold them and $20 in a couple weeks for me to ship it out). On a piece that is $100 or more we can do a three time payment plan. Just message me and I will work with you!
Damaged in post?
If the jewelry is damaged, I cannot refund you because at that point I have done what I can to protect the product in transit but I don't have control of what happens once it leaves my hands. However I do accept repair work, just message me and pay for the shipping and materials needed to repair your piece.
You down to trade?
Yes! I am looking for skincare products, acupuncture, yoga classes, tattoos and clothes right now. If you make or do any of these things let me know! I can't promise that I will trade with everyone, but I love trading so feel free to give it a shot! Obviously if you are trading for acupuncture or something that costs more than the jewelry item you want, I will pay the remaining costs!
How do I take care of my jewelry?
Because the base wire in all of my jewelry (except for the ear wires because those are always gold-filled or sterling silver) is brass for the most part, I recommend using a polishing cloth. Taking care of your jewelry by laying it flat and not bunched up with other jewelry can help prevent discoloration. Same with not going in water with the jewelry on. Brass naturally oxidizes to a nice brown, which some people like, but if this is not for you you can always polish it back to the shiny brass with a classic polishing cloth.
Why do you only use brass for the forms and not gold-filled everything?
I personally like brass more, but it also has to do with the fact that I want to make my jewelry a bit more affordable, and if everything were gold-filled I wouldn't be able to offer that. I do make sure that whatever is in a lot of contact with your skin is higher quality though. So, ear wires and chain on necklaces are always gold-filled (because gold-filled has a higher content of gold and is better for sensitive ears/skin).
Custom and personalized orders
I am not currently taking commissions because I have found that commissions take a long time and a lot of communication. When I do not have so many side jobs to balance this with, I will consider doing commissions again.
Do you do repairs?
Yes! I offer repairs. Just send me a picture of your jewelry with details of how it is broken to my email: for.ina.jewelry@gmail.com and I will get back to you on material costs. You will also have to cover shipping as well. If it is a really time consuming repair I will also charge for labor, but otherwise I usually only charge for shipping and materials. Do not take advantage of this to change your design, I only repair according to the original design. I also unfortunately cannot always promise that I will have a specific stone or material still in stock so I might not be able to repair if I no longer have that material. So it is better to contact me right away if your jewelry breaks.
Can I buy a Single instead of a Pair?
Yes! Reach out to me via message about the piece you want a single of and I will make you one and we will figure out payment and shipping through message! A single earring costs exactly half the price of the listing of the pair.
