Welcome! I'm a wildlife artist who works in pastels, colored pencils, and graphite to create realistic, emotionally resonant portraits of animals in their natural world. My work is inspired by the quiet magic of encounters in the wild — a fox kit emerging from its den, a fawn tucked away safely underneath the branches of a wild rose, or the glint of curiosity in a red squirrel’s eye.
Although this Etsy shop was originally opened in 2008, it sat dormant while I honed my skills, explored the beauty of nature, and deepened my connection to the subjects I paint. In 2025, I finally felt ready to share my work more widely, and this shop is the result — a collection of pieces that reflect years of practice, patience, and passion.
Every piece you see here is created with care and intention, whether it’s a full-color pastel painting or a small black-and-white graphite study. My goal is not just to depict animals, but to capture the sense of presence and wonder that comes with truly seeing them.
