    Owner, Jewelry Designer, Designer

When people ask me how long I've been a jewelry designer I often have to pause because my initial response is around 40 years. But truth be told, I sold my first pieces of jewelry at the ripe old age of 14 while vacationing in Provincetown, MA.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I do custom work but please be aware that custom work is NON refundable and a final sale.

Once you approve your custom design , I require a 50% deposit .
Final payment is due when work is completed and I have notified you that your order is ready to be shipped.

Modifying a current design in my shop is also considered "Custom " and is also a final sale and non refundable.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Earrings, bracelets and necklaces always arrive gift wrapped . Earrings arrive in a little box tied with a pretty ribbon.
Bracelets and necklaces arrive in a vintage Chinese embroidered silk brocade purse all ready for gift giving.
◉ These vintage silk brocade purses are available for sale in 3 different sizes in my other Etsy vintage supply shop - EurekaEureka.etsy.com

Giving a Gift?
I am more than happy to mail directly to the gift recipient!
Just add their shipping address in NOTES TO SELLER when you check out, and let me know that it is a gift. And of course I will NOT include a sales receipt in their package.

I am happy to include a gift enclosure with your message on it. Just let me know what you'd like me to write for you.

How often do you mail out orders?

I do my best to go to the post office Monday thru Friday as I know everyone is always anxious to get their orders. Most orders are shipped within 72 hours of receiving payment .

IMPT: YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS:
I ship to the address provided in the Checkout "SHIP TO" transaction section.
Etsy generates the shipping label that you the customer provide to Etsy and this is what we use.

Please be sure the address is accurate as many times the address that may appear on your PayPal account is different than where you actually want the item to be shipped.

The BUYER will be billed for the additional shipping fees if the package is returned to me because of an incorrect shipping address.

Are you able to modify an existing necklace?

I may be able to lengthen ( or shorten) a necklace for you if I have more of the beads that would be required in the design.
Price will then reflect additional beads plus labor.

I charge $2.50 an inch for re-stringing and knotting of any necklace or bracelet.
Re-stringing of pearls is $3.50 an inch.

I'd like a different ear wire - can you change the ear wires?

I am happy to switch out ear wires for you - sometimes there may be an additional cost depending on what you choose. Convo me if you would like different ear wires on the earrings you want to purchase.

Earrings are finished on either french ear wires, kidney ear wires, or lever back ear wires.
Posts are also available in gold filled.

I have ear wires in sterling silver, handmade oxidized sterling silver ,silver plated, gold filled, Bali handmade gold vermeil, antiqued brass, copper, surgical steel, oxidized black and niobium.

Layaway

Layaway plans are available on a case by case basis.
A small initial non-refundable down payment is required and in most cases ,the balance is expected to be paid in full within 60 days.

Please send me a convo if interested in setting up a payment plan.

How can I be sure your " antique" Chinese pendants aren't reproductions

Many people sell such shards as 'antiques' and not the reproductions that they truly are and that are currently being exported from China.

I have the documentation to prove that all the porcelain shard pendants that I use in my designs are genuine Qing Dynasty ( 1644- 1911) or Ming Dynasty ( 1368-1644 ) antiques. I purchased a few of these gorgeous porcelain shards during a buying trip to Hong Kong during the late 1970's.
◉ You will be provided with a color copy of this document with this necklace.◉
