How it all began...
I actually started my working career following my passion for swimming. I qualified to be a Swimming Teacher as soon as I was 18 and professed in it for over 20 years. I also qualified as a Swimming Tutor, meaning I ran courses to teach people how to become Swimming Teachers. I did that for around 13 years, which I loved. However, things change...
I also helped my husband run his business in making and supplying collectable dolls house furniture and accessories, which ran for over 25 years called Forget-Me-Not Miniatures. During that time I made miniature food as well as other crafted items until the business closed when my husband retired in 2014.
FMN Crafts evolved around the time of change and is still evolving now. As well as working like a lunatic around the sewing machine, I am a wife, a daughter and a God-mum and if I had any spare time, I would spend it reading with a good cuppa... I am ambitious, committed and dedicated to my work, I make high quality items that I hope is reflected here and as well as selling online, I also exhibit at Craft and Gift fairs around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Please take a look around and I hope to do business with you soon. Thanks for reading!
