This is the guide I wish I had when I was in nursing school!! Practical, not over-detailed to where you want to pull your hair out, and includes comparisons and tips/tricks that make the information stick. Plus a little bit of humor here and there to remind you not only are our patients human, but we are too! I'll be purchasing more copies for all of my nursing students and orientees!!

Refreshingly honest. Feels like getting advice from someone who actually remembers what it's like to be a student. Perfect for anyone feeling like they need more practical advice/wanting to feel less like a deer in headlights during clinicals. I especially like how the author includes scenarios for when to call the provider because that still trips me up. Would recommend!
