4 out of 5 starsThe clock is truly beautiful and complements my interior perfectly—especially in combination with my coffee table, which is made of a similar onyx. I’m not sure why it is described as "silent," since the ticking is still audible, just as it is with any mechanical clock. Be careful when attaching and setting the hands (they are packaged separately from the dial); it is a very delicate task. Overall, I found exactly what I was looking for and am very pleased.

Mechanical movements can produce a subtle sound, even when engineered for quiet operation, and the perception of that sound can vary depending on both the environment and individual sensitivity. To avoid any confusion for future buyers, we will remove the word “silent” from the product description. You are absolutely right about the hands—they are the most delicate component of any clock mechanism. We package them separately to protect them as much as possible during transport. While they do require gentle handling, the installation process is very simple. We’re glad the clock met your expectations and truly appreciate your helpful feedback.
