Fostering Sewing Patterns for memory animals

Ravens are deeply significant to me, and this piece shows some of the techniques I would like to use on future patterns.
I was raised by a marine biologist, and love all kinds of unusual animals. Original sea urchin pieces.
Halloween is a big deal at our house. A Lord of the Rings cosplay featuring Treebeard, Sauron, and Mary.
This is where it all started. These are two of the first plushie patterns that I ever designed (age 10).

Fostering Sewing: Create with Abandon

As a child, I made monsters and dragons, frogs and tigers; leaving a trail of glitter, gel pens, and stuffing in my wake. Fostering Sewing Patterns are designed to encourage you to create with equal abandon and joy.

Too often we feel pressure to be perfect. Come here to experiment and share. Are the eyes off center, stitching uneven, or curves crooked? Celebrate that you made something with your hands! Continue to learn, share, and make.

One of the best parts of making plushies is repurposing things that you already have on hand. I love to use meaningful clothing and scraps a way to reduce waste and preserve memories. All Fostering Sewing Patterns are designed to use upcycled clothing and include tips for making memory animals.

I have been sewing stuffed animals since I was a child. A single plushie can bring such magic and joy into this world. I currently specialize in memory animals and am also a full time mom and part time English professor.
