FourElements BeadWorks; "Painting" the world around me with Gemstone Beads!
Many years ago, when my children were quite young, we bought a little retail gift shop. Being very creative and ingenious kids, they wanted to create artful items that they could sell in our shop! They started making jewelry using kid-appropriately sized beads and all of their creations sold quickly! Soon, I was totally inspired and I began making beaded jewelry too. I didn't really have a focus or direction at first.
One day I realized that I wanted to create jewelry using semi-precious beads becuase those gemstones have innate energetic vibrations that actually can help heal all sorts of emotional, physical and spiritual issues! I knew that because I had experienced some seemingly remarkable changes when wearing different gemstones!
Because I always wanted to be a painter, but I'm a much better photographer, I started to take photos of the world around me where ever I was. I would use those photos as a reference and create my jewelry as a "painting" or interpretation of my photographs. Then I realized that everything I was seeing, and then creating, was a part of 1 of 4 elements. Earth, Sky, Water and Fire are the four elements that hold those inspirations!
Making these creations is therapeutic for me, but also, being able to share the healing properties of the gemstones with you is a wonderful experience.....for both of us!

My current inspirations are the skies, storms, sunsets and sunrises and of course, clouds. My gardens are constantly inspiring me, and photos of water, the beaches of the world, landscapes and animals give me unlimited ideas!
