As vital members of our little herd, our pets have been at the very heart of the creation of Four Robins. We have had the good fortune to have so many four-legged friends share our lives and have sought a way to honor their friendship through our art and process.

As a painter for many years, I sought to translate my love of color and texture into a new medium. Like painting, leather work is rooted in traditional methods and techniques. Combining elements of both disciplines has been an inspiring and rewarding experience.

Our collars and accessories are made from vegetable tanned cowhide or bridle leather. We hand dye, paint, and emboss our collars and accessories to create a product as distinctive as you and your pet.

Returns and exchanges
Returns must be made within 7 business days of the receipt of your item. In order for your return to be processed, please contact me prior to the return of your item to authorize the return.

Customized items from our shop are not returnable. If you have received an item in error, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can correct your order.

If, upon receiving your item(s), there is an error with your order so that it must be returned, please contact us. All other returns or refunds can only be processed for items in unused, unworn, and undamaged condition and within 7 business days of your item being delivered. Upon receipt of your returned item, our shop will issue a refund of the product cost minus shipping. Any shipping costs incurred during the return process cannot be refunded. It is recommended that returns are send by USPS Priority Mail or another shipping service that provides a tracking number for your package.

Leather is a porous material and is not waterproof. Like all natural dyed leather, it is optimal to keep your collar as dry as possible. Although our collars are sealed to protect them during normal use, it not recommended that you submerge your leather collars or allow them to remain wet for extended periods. Collars that regularly become wet may become darkened or discolored or lose dye. Items damaged by wear or misuse cannot be returned or refunded.

When ordering a collar, please be selective when choosing a size and style that is appropriate for your dog. Our collars are made to order for you, and may be customized by size, style and color according to your specifications. Collars that are customized, as well as those that have been worn, cannot be resold and are not returnable. I will be happy to answer any questions you have about your order.
Payment is by PayPal or Etsy Direct Checkout.

Please allow 7-10 days for shipment of made to order and custom orders. Collars are shipped via USPS Priority Mail for domestic orders.
We use USPS Priority Mail for all of our shipping within the US. Orders shipped within the US will be provided with a shipping confirmation number. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS will have a customs form number that will verify shipment, but is not always trackable.

The average shipping time for USPS Ground with Priority Mail
is 2-5 days (however we cannot guarantee this), and generally 6-10 anywhere outside the U.S., (but can take up to several weeks).

**** INTERNATIONAL ORDERS will have US POSTAGE paid in full. VAT's are not included in the purchase price. Please be aware that certain destination countries assess additional tariffs, handling charges, and VAT's that are not within our control and are the responsibility of the buyer. You may want to verify these charges with your local postal service before placing your order.**** Your package may be held at your local post office for payment of tariffs, taxes, or VAT's.

*Special Note on International Delivery*
Although most international packages are delivered within 2 weeks, it can take significantly longer for some to be delivered, especially when they are opened by customs. If this is the case, delivery can take up to 6 weeks. If your package does not arrive after a reasonable interval, please contact me.
