Started when I was 7 yrs old and for Christmas my father purchased a Sear's & Robuck tumbler. Yep that old plastic version that was noisy and loud, but it was interesting to me and started to collect books. I guess a hobby that was different and something I really enjoy it at this young age. So I bugged him for a grinding unit for the whole summer and next Christmas I had my first grinding unit. It was fun and and I was lucky that my dad knew of a person that was into the rock dealing and that was his life job. I sit at his house going through tons of material and listening to stories of trips out west digging.

After many years of not working material and now in Columbus I then meet another gentleman that really got me into making cabs again. Funny thing is he beleived in my work and then added me to Columbus Gem and Mineral show over 20 yrs ago.

Today my hobby is larger than I ever expected it to become, the amount of equipment has grown and so has the pile of rough material. I guess that what happens after 41 yr into a hobby.

Its still a hobby, not ready to make it a fulltime business, I just enjoy cutting cabs. Thank you stopping by the shop, enjoy the pic and if any questions on anything just let me know. I will do my best to answer them.
