Announcement    Frames By Devora creates artisan frames for those very special pictures and cherished photographs and is a truly unique business, not only because of how the frames look but also because of the love and techniques used in creating them. Devora is 30 years old and was born missing the bridge between both halves of her brain. She is a very special young woman who does not let any obstacle stand in her way. Painting started out as a great way to express herself.

Each frame is painted in arcylic by hand, using a technique like no other. Devora uses mittens that have various textures sewn on them. Textures and patterns are created from sponges, KOOSH® balls, brush bristles and other crazy looking objects! When paint is layered, color upon color, a totally unique pattern is created. The possibilities are endless!

Each frame comes with the following poem explaining Devora's purpose for painting.

This unique frame has been hand painted by me,
With various textured items sewn on to mittens that make the print marks you see.
I am abled in my own special way and enjoy painting almost every day.
Since I live at home with my family, there are no daily programs available for young adults
like me.
