Alright, so here's the thing. This whole shop exists because I couldn't shut up about gaming history, and eventually people started actually listening.
It all started as a bunch of short videos with me just explaining videogame stuff nobody asked about. The actual stories behind consoles and games everybody's heard of but not in dpeth Turns out I know an unreasonable amount about this stuff. Where it started, who invented what, who got screwed over, who accidentally invented Mario because a licensing deal fell through. It's a problem, honestly. I should probably talk about this less but I talk about it more though anyway.
What's crazy is that it seems people are actually into it. It's not juts people saying, "oh neat, nostalgia," but people commenting about the stories and how it's all great content which is why this shop exists.
Every design here connects back to something REAL I've actually talked about. A quote, a moment, a piece of history way weirder or funnier than people realize. No stock clip art, no generic "I heart retro games" nonsense slapped on a shirt. Just genuinely great stories, turned into somethin' you can wear, hang up, or leave on your desk to start an argument nobody asked for.
It's a small, one-person operation, running entirely on print-on-demand. Everything's made fresh when you order it. It isn't some giant warehouse full of unsold shirts sitting around collecting digital dust. New merch may come whenever I fall down a new retro arcade rabbit hole, which is often.
