Why FreddysFlyz is Here...
I have always enjoyed fishing since I was a tiny boy and fished every chance I had - I still do. As I grew into my teens, I tried fly fishing but had given up for years because of other interests and other fishing disciplines (but never stopped fishing). As a guy that likes to build things, and work small, I rekindled my desire to try fly tying and fly fishing. Inadvertently, I came across the most beautiful flies online in Instagram and that inspired me to give it a another go. This time it stuck and I've been tying since. Fly tying has become a passion and many have asked me if I sell the flies I tie so I thought I should, and opened this Etsy Shop.
When I hear that anglers did well on the water with flies I've provided them with, nothing feels better! I almost live vicariously through y'all that fish my flies and it blesses me to know they produce well for you. I'm sure that "you" are doing "your part" out there quite well, but it is you that are presenting flies to the fish and I appreciate, to no end, that you are stocking up on flies here or are considering purchasing flies for your next adventure.
My hopes are to travel to newer waters and fish more fly patterns, then add information about the flies to my listing descriptions from my experiences and/or share some information about the patterns. Please read the reviews too as may anglers have already shared their success stories from their adventures. The bottom line is we all want to catch fish!
