Hi! My name is Dorothy and I am the creator of “Free and Thriving”.

The story of “Free and Thriving” is my personal journey of discovering some of nature’s best kept healing secrets. My journey started tucked away in the lush green countryside of Pennsylvania on our family farm. Generation after generation of my family have been farmers and the wonder of harvesting each seasons produce has never left my heart.

It was not until I had to face the personal tragedy of losing three family members to cancer and the start of my own health concerns that I started looking for answers from the earth that I am now convinces that nature can provide. I began inspecting the labels on my favorite foods and beauty products and as I became more knowledgeable I could hardly believe how harmful some of the ingredients truly were. As my adventure continued my new practice of learning and discovery of each treasure the earth has to offer helped me find a balance of health and vibrancy in my own life.

Many of these health treasures have been around for centuries: essential oils, coconut, avocado and jojoba oils, shea butter and beeswax are all nutrient rich gifts from the earth. It is my great privilege to offer some of my creations from these treasures to you. My hope is that you will be able to pamper and nourish your body to become “Free and Thriving”.
