Year Zero
I've been reading and drawing comics longer than I should admit...
When I look through my boxes of stuff from over the years I find doodles I made as a kid, my high school book covers have comics drawn on them, and my engineering college notes are decorated with characters that helped keep me awake (you know you're desperate when you need to draw comics to stay sane...). Upon college graduation I wandered from California through Alaska looking for work and doodled comics along the way. I ended up getting an engineering job as a designer back in California, and there I've been for the last several years.
The comic hand-drawing and illustrating is done by me, and then my wife takes all the pictures, posts them on Etsy, prints the cards, and mails them (she's awesome!)
I have a Swedish and Norwegian heritage that I like to incorporate into my viking comics. I also have family in Alaska that provide plenty of colorful inspiration.
