My Passionate Journey in Furniture Painting and Crafting Timeless PIeces
My name is Erika, and I moved to the United States from Hungary in 1999. After the passing of my beloved grandmother “Mimi” on January 4, 2012, I turned to painting furniture as a way to heal emotionally. What started as a therapeutic outlet has since blossomed into my passion. I now take great joy in transforming antique and vintage furniture into timeless pieces that blend the beauty of the old world with a fresh, exhilarating twist.
My painting style is heavily inspired by the elegance of French Country and Gustavian furniture design. Each piece I work on is infused with a timeworn charm, giving it a unique character that brings warmth and history into your home. I carefully select each piece, ensuring that it not only retains its original beauty but is also elevated with a modern touch that makes it truly one-of-a-kind.
Throughout this creative journey, I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people, and I’m truly grateful for your support. I invite you to browse my shop and explore these beautifully restored pieces. Thank you for the honor of allowing my work to become part of your home.
I was featured in EIA Magazine and Creating Vintage Charm Magazine, which was an incredible experience.
