My name is Alessandra Paglialonga, I’m from Italy, and I’ve been living in London since 2013.
I am an Art Director, Designer and Artist… so in simple words I love to express my creativity and passion in different ways.
I have shown my art and toys in many exhibitions and design fairs in Milan, Berlin and London.

I started producing my toy collection in 2005.
The name of the series is Frengo, and I like to call them soft sculptures because they are toys and a collectable piece of design in one.

There are 14 characters to collect, each with a story to tell, and hand made with love by in Italy.
The collection is limited edition, there are only 100 pieces each, and the series number is printed on the label.
Check the description of each character to see which one is the most similar to you.

Then there is the Lucky Frengo series. They are smaller in size but with a big power, they are extraordinary lucky charms.
You just need to take them with you on your trips, in your bag or wherever you are happy to have a little sweet colourful lucky charm companion ☺

They are also hand made and limited to only 100 pieces… so don’t wait too long to choose.

We also have a selection of exclusive screen prints. They are up to 4 colours, and produced in different sizes. Hand printed and designed by me in London using the traditional method of silkscreen printing.
I used the shapes and the elements of my toys, to create these original designs. And I love to work on this project, as it allows me to produce pieces of art that are affordable for everyone. They are all small limited edition series, which makes each one even more precious.

Last but not least I’m happy to introduce you to my sewing art.
The subjects represent us watched by the toys point of view. I know this sounds a little strange, but it is so cool! ☺
Sometimes, if we see the world from another point of view, it can help us to see more.
Thanks to the vibrant fabric colours, the simple shapes and the original technique, even a bad moment can become a fun subject.

They are produced with the same fabric that I use to make my toys (best quality of fleece, felt, beads and sequins) and stitched by machine and hands.
They are all unique pieces.
I’m also happy to produce sewing art on your request/subject. We can decide sizes/colours/subject together, and after an approved sketch, I will realize for you a unique, and original personal sewing art.
