We Love T-Shirts
I got in trouble the first time I made a t-shirt. I don't remember exactly how old I was but I was probably around 5 or 6 and I loved The Fonze on Happy Days. I wanted to be The Fonze, but leather jackets are expensive so I did the next best thing and took a magic marker to one of my white undershirts. My attempt at drawing Henry Winkler was disappointing, and my mom's reaction to finding out I had ruined a perfectly good white t-shirt should have turned me off t-shirt making forever but it didn't. I learned how to silk screen in high school (Thanks Coach Dozier) and put together my first home made screen and hand-cut stencils in short order. A BFA in Graphic Design from UGA set me on a career where designing t-shirts was frequently on the menu. Now, 40 years since I made my very first t-shirt for myself, I've decided to put my favorite designs online to sell to you.
For the time being, each and every shirt is lovingly designed and hand-printed in my basement studio by me personally. I use a carefully calibrated dye sublimation process to get super sharp and high quality, vivid, and long lasting prints. My blank shirts come from several different sources and brands but all are going to be a poly-blend (at least 60% polyester) and individually tested by me for quality, fit, and durability. There may be a few shirts listed that are printed using a traditional silk screen process, see the product description for that distinction, but rest assured, those are also printed by hand by me as well.
I hope you enjoy wearing these shirts as much as I have enjoyed creating them. Thanks for looking!
