This is more than a new name or logo. There’s a story behind it—and, more importantly, a woman whose story deserves to be told. ❤️
Before C&C Creations, there was Freshly Screwed.
Freshly Screwed was a business Chrystal started in Virginia before the two of us ever met. As a veteran, mother, and naturally creative woman, she had a passion for taking ordinary, overlooked, and sometimes worn-out things and turning them into something worth being proud of. 🇺🇸
It began with woodworking and furniture restoration. 🪵🔨 Chrystal learned, experimented, refined her skills, and poured herself into every project. What started as a creative outlet gradually became a business of her own.
And yes—there’s a story behind the name. 😉
One evening, while sitting on the front porch and searching for something unique, funny, and memorable, Chrystal began thinking about the tools she used every day. Woodworking involved plenty of screws, so the brainstorming quickly turned into a little wordplay.
Her projects were freshly made.
They were newly created.
And technically…
They had just been screwed. 🔩😂
Freshly Screwed was born.
The name was funny, a little inappropriate if your mind went there, impossible to forget, and completely unlike anything else around it.
Honestly, that still describes us pretty well. 😏
When Chrystal and I eventually came together and began creating as a team, we wanted a name that represented both of us. Our first names gave us the two C’s, and Freshly Screwed became C&C Creations.
C&C became OUR name. 💕
But as we continued building this business, I realized that moving forward didn’t mean leaving behind the foundation that made everything possible.
Freshly Screwed was Chrystal’s.
Before there was an “us” in this business, she put in the work, developed the skills, trusted her creativity, and built something of her own. She created a brand so memorable that, years later, it still feels unmistakably like HER.
I never want that part of our story to disappear.
My wife works unbelievably hard for our family. She is an amazing mother, an incredible wife, a fellow veteran, my business partner, and one of the most creative people I know. I’ve witnessed the thought, passion, patience, frustration, late nights, trial and error, and love she pours into everything we make. ❤️
This change is my way of ensuring that the business we’re building together continues to honor the woman who planted its first seed. 🌱
We’re bringing Freshly Screwed home—but keeping C&C because this chapter belongs to both of us.

Freshly Screwed represents our roots.
C&C represents what happened when two people, two veterans, two creators, and—most importantly—a husband and wife decided to build something together. 🇺🇸❤️
What began with woodworking and restored furniture has grown into something much bigger. Today, we use a variety of creative processes to turn ideas into real, tangible things. We’re still learning, experimenting, improving, and discovering new ways to make products that are personal, meaningful, useful, funny, beautiful, or sometimes just completely different. 🎨✨
At its heart, our mission hasn’t changed from what Chrystal originally wrote about Freshly Screwed:

✨ Give people options.
✨ Let creativity run wild.
Now, we get to do that together. 💕
We don’t know exactly how big this will become, but we know what we want at its foundation: family, creativity, hard work, originality, and two people who genuinely love building something side by side.
🌱 Freshly Screwed planted the roots.
🌿 C&C gave those roots another branch.
🌳 Now it’s time to see what we can grow together.
