USPS and Shipping:
1.) Shipping Speed:
"Shipping Speed" and the "Production Time" needed to create your order are not the same thing. Production = the approximate timeframe to create your order. Please review the shipping timetables and select the shipping speed you require to accommodate your itinerary.
2.) Cancellations after 24 hours:
I do not create mass-produced items, all items are handmade-to-order and cost time and materials to create your items.
My shop does not accept cancellations after 24 hours, or returns once your order has already been shipped, or refunds if your event or festival plans were cancelled due to any reason.
3.) Delivery Issues, Lost, Stolen, Misdirected Packages:
You must track your own packages with the tracking numbers provided in your order. A quick visit to your local post office can save you a lot of anxiety if your package delivery is delayed. They will have all the information regarding delivery, I do not have this information. From the Perch Design is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
4.) Signature Required Packages:
If your shipping address is in a big city, high rise, office building, apartment, or if your order was over $200 it may be sent with signature required. Check your mailroom or parcel locker, ask your doorman, and visit your local post office regarding ANY delivery issues and delays. I cannot track your package and visit your post office for you. A quick visit to your local post office with your tracking number (attached to your order) will save you a lot of anxiety if your package is delayed. You can also coordinate a redelivery with the USPS while you are there.
5.) Insurance:
Only packages shipped with Express or Priority shipping will be insured for the full cost of your order. First Class post only covers orders up to $100. If you do not choose Express or Priority, your order will not be shipped with insurance, and I will not recreate any orders for free. No exceptions. You will need to put in a claim with Etsy for your order, and in some cases Etsy will cover an order up to $250.
6.) Hotels:
I can ship to your hotel if you're traveling. Be sure to tell your hotel's concierge that a package is arriving for you. You will need to provide at the time of your purchase (not after your purchase) the hotel name, address, and your contact information (Attn: Jane Austin, Hotel Guest). This needs to be included in your order under the "ship to address" section when you check out.
7.) Wearable items:
Face masks, eye goggles, eye glasses/sunnies, and other wearable and personal protective gear is not returnable/exchangeable in order to prevent the spread of virus contagions and variants. All From The Perch Design items are handmade. There are no returns on Burning Man and festival wearable items, but please contact me if you have any questions about your order.
8.) What are Costume Goggles?
They are exactly just that, they are a costume accessory. They are wearable art. They are totally fabulous. They also provide adequate protection under normal weather conditions.
9.) Will my goggles come with a cloth case? Most goggles do not come with a cloth case as the cloth tends to catch and snag on more intricate designs. I do provide a plastic zippered bag with each pair of goggles you order which will protect your goggles from dust.

If you need to reschedule a delivery, you can call or visit your local post office or the number provided for you on the redelivery notice that was left by your post-person. I cannot reschedule a delivery for you.

Sales and Instagram Flash Sales:
As a small business, I reserve the right to run seasonal sales and flash sales at any time of year if and when it suits my business's needs and this does not grant past purchasers the right to additional discounts. Asking for discounts attributes less value to what I do and what I create. The focus shifts from value and design ingenuity to "price". If cost is a factor, ask yourself if you would work at a discount before asking me to do so.
As you shop around, you'll see that for the quality, originality, and artistic merit, my items are priced well below many other shops--many of whom have not been around as long as I have (and some who have gleaned direct inspiration from my designs)
