Locally Sourced Wood & Handmade Goods
Longtime craftsman and carpenter, Gary Benjamin, turned his first piece of wood several years ago while residing on a New England coastal town in Massachusetts. Since then, he has has been mastering the art of his craft and creating beautifully turned household goods from locally sourced and harvested New England hardwood. Gary has been making fine cabinetry, furniture and other items for many years, but has recently focused his attention towards his newfound passion for woodturning. Operating his shop and studio out of his residence in New Hampshire, Gary personally cuts, seasons, shapes, turns and finishes each of his handcrafted items. When not turning, Gary enjoys spending time with his lovely wife Nancy, their dog Millie along with their family and grandchildren.
In 2018, with the help of Gary's son, Matt and his partner Abigail Scott, "FromWood2Good" was born. An online Etsy shop that includes a carefully curated selection of Gary's finely turned household goods. The shop strives to provide it's customers with beautifully handcrafted and unique items from a variety of New England hardwoods. Prices are kept and each item is thoughtfully packaged and carefully shipped.
