Alte Gegenstände. Neues Leben. Eklektischer Stil.
Old Objects. New Life. Eclectic Style.
Hohlsafes, versteckt in alten Reader's Digest-Ausgaben.
I have a shattered light bulb tattooed on my shoulder — an idea so good it shattered the bulb, but the light is still on. That's how I think about creativity.
I started FunEclecticHome in 2012 because I couldn't stop making things. Bookshelves out of actual books. Hollow safes hidden inside vintage Reader's Digests. Custom dust jackets that turn a hollow book into a screen-accurate movie prop. Bowls, shelves, bookends, and pickguards made from vinyl records that can't be recycled but shouldn't be in a landfill either.
I'm not always the first person to have an idea. But I'm good at research, good at iteration, and I genuinely enjoy the process of figuring out how to turn one thing into something completely different.
Everything ships from my workshop in Dallas, NC. Most of it is one of a kind. All of it started with me thinking — I can make that better.
