It all started a few years ago when Jimi and I bought our first house, a fixer upper. The bathroom needed to be completely remodeled and Jimi redid the entire thing. He designed the whole room himself and decided to do all of the walls in reclaimed pallet wood (which turned out amazing!) He spent weeks looking for, breaking apart and sanding down the pallet wood. He was looking for the most unique, colorful pieces of wood. While he was in the process of the remodel, I gave him the idea of using old door knobs to hang towels and robes on. While looking through the most beautiful, antique door knobs, he realized this was something he could make more of and people might actually buy them.
6 months later, we both had quit our jobs and moved from Key West to Charleston. We realized this would be a great time to be able to devote all of our time to creating and growing a business. Jimi is always coming with new and unique ideas. The Flip Flop rack he designed came from wearing only Flip Flops in Key West for the last 15 years! He puts as much care and attention into each rack as he does with remodeling our home. We hope you love our items as much as we love making them. Let us know if you have any questions.
