We have an especially passion for traveling, to get fascinated by other cultures and way of life, where we get our inspiration from. To be aware of what surrounds our-self, to be curios to see what there is out of my door, is what guides us in life and reflects our purpose of life: to be creative, to play with ideas, to mix different styles, to be eclectic in every aspect of living...This is what we want to reflect in our creation also!
We love the ancient meaning of jewel, of the amulet that keeps within its self magic and protecting powers.
Most of all we like the idea to keep this original meaning in our jewels, in addition to the one about adorning and decoration of the body.
That's way we use organic materials such as wood, bone, seeds, shells, stones, to creates our collection.
Every material has a deep meaning and carries some powers. We think it is important to be aware of what we wear every day on our skin.
Everything started from our passion for skulls of any kind, form, material, shape, essence. Overall we are fascinated by the meaning of them which we found to be quite auspicious and powerful.
So we start to create necklaces and bracelets using carved Yak bone skull beads and other kind of beads collected while we are traveling especially in Asia, fascinated and inspired by Buddhist and Hinduist culture.
"GAIA PROJECT" is a an accessories collection which wants to go beyond the religious pattern, but from that take all the meanings that can help us to live better! We believe in God as Divine Consciousness, a presence in each one of us and in every life forms. No religion can be more right then another.
So be creative! Just get what you want from everything you think is speaking truth!
