Welcome to GlasStuffStudio – Where Glass Tells Stories
Hi! I’m Didem, a glass artist and the hands behind GlasStuffStudio. My journey with glass began at Anadolu University’s Glass Department in 2011. That same year, my mother gifted me my first torch — and that small gesture ignited a lifelong passion.
What started as university lessons quickly became my life's work. After graduation, I began teaching glass art at the local municipality’s Glass Arts Center. Alongside my partner (now husband), we set up our own home studio with a shared dream: to create meaningful glass pieces that connect people across the world.
What We Make
At GlasStuffStudio, I specialize in handmade glass figurines and jewelry, all crafted using the lampworking (flameworking) technique. We work with a double torch, mixing gas and oxygen to melt glass at over 1000°C, allowing me to shape each piece with precision and care.
My collections include:
• Animal glass figurines (elephants, orcas, foxes, dragons, pandas, and more)
• Fantasy & whimsical creatures (gnomes, sea dragons, direwolves)
• Glass bead jewelry — like our signature transparent purple necklace
• Miniatures for collectors, terrariums, and fairy gardens
Each piece is slowly cooled in sand to prevent cracks and ensure long-lasting beauty.
