My journey into the world of canine fashion and accessories commenced in November 2009, with the arrival of Amedeo (affectionately known as Amey), a Whippet puppy who instantly became a cherished member of our family. At that time, in Celje, Slovenia, it was uncommon to see dogs adorned in clothing. During a particularly harsh winter, Amey fell ill due to the cold. Following our veterinarian's advice, we procured his first jumper and winter coat. However, I found the quality of available dog apparel in Slovenia and the broader European market lacking.
As an entrepreneur with a longstanding aspiration to establish a registered trademark, I saw this as an opportunity to merge my creative passions with my business ambitions. This led to the inception of GL design—a brand dedicated to crafting high-quality, stylish, and functional products for dogs and their owners.
What began with designing dog clothing quickly expanded into a comprehensive range of accessories, including collars, beds, and other essentials that contribute to a dog's comfort and happiness. Today, GL design offers a diverse array of products that cater to both canine companions and their human counterparts.
