I have been an artist all my life; drawing and painting have been my favorite things to do for as long as I can remember.
My official credentials include a BFA in Illustration from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I worked in my field for a while after graduation, but circumstances required me to take a "day job" and balancing that sort of work with my passion proved too much at the time...I believe John Lennon said "Life is what happens while you are making other plans."
Motherhood became my main gig in my late 30s, and I suffered a bit of an identity crisis. Raising a quality human being is a huge and important responsibility, and still I found I needed something ELSE. Something that was my own. I began my Etsy shop to fulfill that need, and my initial goal was to simply support my hobby. It has grown well beyond that, for which I am incredibly grateful.
