GalleryLost is the shop of Amsterdam-based photographer Jacob Gesink. His photographs are about other worlds hidden in plain sight. Like a children's book imagining a doorway to a fantastical realm, a gate behind a hidden wall, or a seemingly endless rabbit hole; these things are actually out there.

Universe of Coffee
No matter where in the world you are, there will be a local coffee culture. It is remarkable how, since its discovery in the ninth century in Ethiopia, the drink has found its way across the globe. Leaving in its wake many different, traditional brewing methods. Every method has its own taste, charms and challenges. Universe of Coffee captures the great diversity, as planets are part of a coffee universe. It is both a celebration and a reminder of the ingenuity of people.
