2 out of 5 starsTwo stars only because I had to file a claim and Etsy refunded me. Go elsewhere for a temp tattoo- mine was defective and came off within hours. Bummer! Plenty of other lovely people on here sell these, go elsewhere

This customer sent in pictures of her tattoo after application. It was clear the plastic top coat had not been removed all the way before trying to put it on, like the included instructions say. We repeatedly offered to send her a replacement for free so she could try again. We strongly suggest following all of the included instructions to ensure a smooth application process. We can not provide a refund for tattoos that have been used, but under some circumstances will offer to send a replacement free of charge. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.

GeekTat and SmashTat
SmashTat began in 2012, while I was sitting on the living room floor with a roommate. I've always been fascinated with tattoos and my Pinterest board at the time was swimming with designs I loved but would never get permanently. ( You know how THAT goes, all talk over here!) The stars must have aligned that night because everything seemed to fall into place and the idea for SmashTat came to me. I was getting married and needed some extra money, my current job was slow so I had extra time, everything was perfect to get SmashTat up on it's feet.
I was just looking for something fun, a hobby. There was no immediate, big dream of one day owning my own business. But it blossomed into much more than I could have ever imagined!
It was about 7 months into the start of Smashtat that I made the move from California (sad) back to Utah for the summer. I took some time off of work for the move when I realized my little hobby had grown into a demanding business. Working two jobs had been getting to be too much, so I took the leap of faith to pursue SmashTat Temporary Tattoos full-time...
By investing more time into SmashTat I was able to watch it really develope into what it has become today. We have multiple online shops, sell internationally and are located in various brick and mortar shops all across the country (whaaat?!). Tattoos are printed locally in Alaska (where I live now, BIG change from sunny California) and come in a 100% recycled kraft envelope. Every order is processed and packaged by little ol’ me in my home studio, likely in the company of our precious pup, Lily.
On most days you’ll find me working on growing SmashTat, but on days off, I'm out and about running on adventures with my husband or helping him with building our Tiny Home ( 304 sq. ft. yikes!)
I can not believe the love and support I have received from the handmade community since starting on this adventure. I know that I am only here because of you and I am grateful for that everyday! So have fun with these tattoos everyone! If you don't see the design that you would like, shoot me an email and I can work with you on a custom order.

U.S Orders:
You can choose either the standard shipping for $1.47 or First class Shipping for $3.04
The $1.47 option does not come with tracking and will not be resent or refunded in case your order gets lost in the mail
The $3.04 option will come with tracking and insurance of delivery as well as a refund in case of any delivery issues.
International Orders:
You can choose either the standard shipping for $2.13 or First class Shipping for $7.65
The $2.13 option does not come with tracking and will not be resent or refunded in case your order gets lost in the mail
The $7.65 option will come with the customs number and insurance of delivery as well as a refund in case of any delivery issues.
Once shipped, delivery times vary. The USPS estimates First Class Mail at 3-6 business days for domestic orders. International orders are estimated at 1-3 weeks.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Smashtat is not responsible for customs fees, or VAT.
Please make sure that your Etsy address is the address you'd like me to ship to. If the customer provides the incorrect address and the order is returned to me, a replacement tattoo can be sent at the customer's expense.
