I have always been a very creative person who has dealt with a wide variety of creative activities in my free time. When I am being creative, I usually forget everything around me and can completely immerse myself in another world. It is almost meditative for me. And so at some point (especially thanks to a Taylor Swift concert in 2024) I got a taste for making bracelets myself. Thanks to my attention to detail and the desire to always do things as "right" as possible, I eventually immersed myself completely in the world of DIY jewelry, dealt with different materials and manufacturing methods and fell in love with the pearl flower design in particular.
For me, jewelry is a way of expressing yourself, of showing your inner beauty on the outside. I love "girlie vibes" and believe that girlhood is something wonderful and we should never let ourselves be convinced otherwise. And that's what I want to show on the outside with Gems of May. As I am a spring child myself (I was born in May - how could it be otherwise), I love this time of year especially, as everything is finally coming back to life and the first really warm rays of sunshine are making their appearance again. I try to capture this feeling in my products and make it visible.

Ich war schon immer ein sehr kreativer Mensch, der sich in seiner Freizeit mit den verschiedensten kreativen Beschäftigungen auseinandergesetzt hat. In der Zeit, in der ich kreativ bin, vergesse ich meist alles um mich herum und kann voll und ganz in eine andere Welt abtauchen. Es hat beinahe etwas meditatives für mich. Und so bin ich irgendwann (insbesondere durch ein Taylor Swift Konzert 2024) auf den Geschmack gekommen, Armbänder selber herzustellen. Dank meiner Detailgenauigkeit und dem Wunsch, die Dinge immer möglichst "richtig" zu machen, bin ich dann irgendwann ganz in die Welt des DIY-Schmucks eingetaucht, habe mich mit verschiedenen Materialien und Herstellungsmethoden auseinandergesetzt und habe mich insbesondere in das Perlen-Blümchen-Design verliebt.
Für mich ist Schmuck eine Art sich auszudrücken, seine innere Schönheit nach außen zu tragen. Ich liebe "Girlie-Vibes" und bin der Meinung, dass Girlhood etwas wundervolles ist und wir uns niemals von etwas anderem überzeugen lassen sollten. Und das möchte ich auch mit Gems of May nach außen tragen. Da ich selbst ein Frühlingskind bin (ich bin - wie sollte es anders sein - im Mai geboren) liebe ich diese Zeit des Jahres ganz besonders, da alles endlich wieder zum Leben erweckt wird und die ersten richtig warmen Sonnenstrahlen sich wieder blicken lassen. Dieses Gefühl versuche ich in meinen Produkten einzufangen und sichtbar zu machen.
