On a breezy afternoon, I sat by the window, flipping through my carefully crafted handbook in my hands. This handbook not only records my daily life, but also carries all my imagination and pursuit of beautiful things. Each page is filled with various kinds of decorative tapes, cute illustrations and some special text clippings, which together weave a warm and creative story one after another.
I first came across handbooking by chance, when I was browsing in a bookstore and was attracted by a book showing how to make a handbook. Since then, I have fallen in love with this way of freely expressing myself and recording life moments. As I explored this hobby more, I realized that although there was an abundance of decorative materials available on the market, there was always something missing - a sense of uniqueness and design. Many of the products on the market were beautiful, but it was hard to find something that perfectly matched my personal style.
So a bold idea came into my mind: why not try to design and make some personalized decorative tapes to satisfy people like me who have special feelings for handbills? After a period of study and research, I began to use digital painting software to create patterns, and contacted a few manufacturers who were willing to accept small custom orders to produce samples for me.
I can't tell you how excited I was when the first batch of my self-designed decorative tape finally arrived. Every detail was perfectly rendered according to what I had in mind. I decided to open my own shop on Etsy to sell these unique handmade items so that more people can see and love them.
