Frequently asked questions
I received a solid geode that was guaranteed hollow per item description. What options do I have?
First of all, we are sorry you received a solid geode. If our listing clearly guarantees the geode or geodes will be hollow and you received a solid geode, we will send you another geode/geodes at no cost. Just contact us and we will get a replacement box shipped out immediately.
How fast will you ship my order?
At Geode Gallery, we take great pride in shipping orders out fast! Virtually all orders will ship the same or no later than next business day. The only delay would be for geodes requested to be cracked open and staff capable of opening the geodes is away from the business at the time you ordered, or a truck freight shipment may require an additional day or two to work out delivery arrangements and paperwork. Please contact us with any additional shipping questions.
I had a package that tracking says was delivered but I do not have the package. What happens now?
First of all, we are sorry to hear this. Several things could have happened, including the package was delivered but to an incorrect address, was placed all the way into the back of your mailbox (especially small packages), or was stolen. We have had reports of packages marked "delivered" that show up 1-3 days later! The first thing you need to do is contact your local post office or courier terminal immediately - please do not contact us as there is nothing we can do on our end. We are NOT liable for any lost/stolen packages/mail once it leaves our possession. Please request to have packages held at your local delivering post office or courier terminal for pickup if there have been issues with package delivery in your area.
Can I request a certain color in my geode if I request to have my geodes cracked open?
This is a frequent question we receive especially related to the coconut/choyas geodes. We cannot accommodate requests for specific colors or interiors in these geodes since we only open the geodes on demand. If you request to have your geodes cracked open before we ship, we pull geodes from existing whole (rough) geode stock and crack them open on the spot before packing/shipping. It is completely random what you will get just as if you bought the geodes whole and opened them yourself. We have no idea what is in the geodes, either, so it is completely random and that's what makes these so much fun!
