Sizing details
Here are some general guidelines to help you with sizing:
Necklaces:
Standard length chain- 18"
Shorter chain for average-sized women- 16"
Small children- 14"
Bracelets: The best way to get an accurate measurement is to measure the person's wrist. Take a cloth/plastic measuring tape to get the wrist. Make to measure exact, without extra space. Add 1/2" to the measurement. This is the size your should order the bracelet in. If you do not have a proper measuring tape, use a strip of paper to wrap around the wrist, mark where the end meets back around, and use a ruler to get the wrist size.
Rings:
If you do not know the ring size, see a jewelry store or ring sizing chart online. They can be resized at jewelry stores if you have to guess.
Care instructions
Most of our items require no maintenance. However, here are a few suggestions for the little upkeep certain items may need:
Sterling Silver can be cleaned/shined with polishing cloths, as well as with jewelry cleaners (ex. Connoisseurs Revitalizing Silver Jewelry Cleaner, which is available at Walmart, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc.).
Family tree sculptures are best left out of direct sunlight.
Will the necklaces fade, turn, or change my skin? Will they bother my allergies?
The chances of skin discoloration with our products is very slim. We have never had an issue, thus far. There should not be any issues with skin allergies, either. The colored wires are silver plated and enamel coated to prevent tarnishing and skin irritation. However, people with severe skin allergies might want to opt for a sterling silver, yellow gold, rose gold, or stainless steel item. Surgical stainless steel is the perfect option for everyone with skin allergies, and does not tarnish or fade.
What if I get the wrong size?
Wire necklaces can be slipped onto other chains.
Rings can be sized up (bigger) elsewhere, or returned to us within two weeks for a replacement.
Bracelets can possibly be altered, or an extender can be purchased.
