Rush requests are considered, and additional fees will apply. Extended work hours are necessary to accommodate rush requests,  in order to keep in-house orders on their projected shipping time lines. Please inquire prior to ordering to ensure your request can be accommodated.

We do not honor customer notes indicating rushes. If your order is time sensitive,  please let us know ahead of time,  and do not assume a note on your order is binding or will be fulfilled.

All items are made to order,  and processing time frames will vary from item to item. We do our best to get items out as quickly as possible. However,  we will not rush the process and compromise quality in craftmanship. Time frame details are noted in the item description and on the order purchase page.

Please contact us prior to ordering if an item is time sensitive. We will do our best to accommodate your delivery request. Shipping upgrade fees may apply.

For security reasons, and to prevent fraud, we only ship to the shipping address listed on the order. No exceptions.

Please make sure your address information is updated to prevent delays. If a request is sent via form submission or direct messaging, it will not be honored, and you will be notified of our posted policies. Failure to respond will delay start of order. No response will result in order cancellation.

This policy is put into place for the protection of the card holder, and merchant. Etsy does not offer protection otherwise.

All orders are shipped insured for your protection. In the event an item arrives damaged during shipping, please notify us immediately. Photos of shipping box and damage of item are required. The fastest refund recourse is to initiate a claim directly at your local post office or online. Refunds are typically issued at the counter, upon inspection of shipping box and contents. Alternatively, a check is mailed by carrier to your address.. A new order can then be replaced upon receipt of refunded damages if desired. **Be advised, this process can take up to 30 days to finalize if the claim is processed on our end.

Once refunded, the damaged item (s) must be re-ordered. The shipping carrier typically retrieves the damaged item.

All sales are final, due to the nature of made to order items. Some exceptions may apply within 24 hours of placement of an order. Cancellation fees may apply.

Defective items will be exchanged upon notification of receipt of defective item at time of delivery. Photos of defect are required.

All items are made to order, with intent and have ase. This does not mean they are "charged" for anything specific (i.e. luck, love etc.), unless requested and billed accordingly.

Each order is personally hand-packed in ritual fashion, in a specific order, with ewe, house signature blend oils, cards/seals, etc. (not applicable on paintings/prints, and mixed media staffs and millinery items). Items are weighed and recorded.

Due to ritual order, there is no possibility for receipt of an "empty box". However, we look into such claims when presented. Photographic evidence of shipping packaging and item packaging is required.

The significance of chicken feet and bones etc., varies from natural curios, charms, talismans, and fetish objects, offerings and cleanings, to tools of divination. One need not be a practitioner of Candomblé, Palo, Santeria, Vodoun, Vodou, or conjurer or rootworker of Hoodoo.

Items are sold as decorative pieces and are not created with specific intent, unless requested by the buyer. Some items have a specific purpose, while others are merely authentic recreations. Details will be listed in the item description for each item available.

Ritual packaging is primarily for protection and safe travel, as well as presentation.

We value the privacy of our customers. The information provided at time of order will not be shared or sold to third parties by BläckHeart Designs. We are not responsible how this information is stored or used by Etsy, and is outlined in their posted privacy policy.

Items indicated as "Delivered" that go missing become an issue between post office-carrier & recipient. The claims process will need to be initiated by recipient in the event the parcel is not located.

If you live in a "problem area" & packages go missing, or are mis-delivered frequently, it is up to the customer to request signed delivery, or delivery for pick up, prior to placing an order. Additional fees may apply based on service-type. We are not responsible for "delivered /non-received" packages. The holiday season can be a problem time for "missing" packages, via mishandling, mis-delivery, & theft via "porch pirates".

All orders are shipped insured for your protection. USPS will reimburse you for lost, or damaged insured packages.

Recommended send-by dates for expected delivery before December 25

Please take care and observe processing time frames prior to ordering, as most items are made to order with a minimum of 1-3 days, and maximum of 1-2 weeks. All items ship via USPS Priority Mail insured. As per USPS, items should ship no later than December 18th, for delivery by the 25th. This is adjusted to the 17th, as the post office in shipping location is closed on Saturdays. Priority Express shipping may be requested prior to ordering, and shipping fees adjusted to reflect additional fee. Shipping cut-off deadline for Express service is December 23rd
