We’re Jessica and Buster, a husband-and-wife team in Arizona who fell in love with the magic of rocks and minerals.
There’s something incredible about taking an ordinary-looking stone, sawing it open, and discovering the beauty hidden inside. That sense of wonder sparked Gideon’s Geodes—our little adventure of finding, cutting, polishing, tumbling, and sharing Earth’s treasures.
We’re especially drawn to Arizona’s incredible rocks and minerals, and we love sharing a little piece of our home state with our customers. Every order includes a small thank-you gift of tumbled stones we’ve hand-collected across Arizona and “Payson Diamonds”—sparkling clear quartz crystals we personally collected while rockhounding near Payson.
Every piece in our shop is selected with care. Some we cut, polish, or tumble ourselves; others we thoughtfully source because their beauty caught our eye. From our hand-cut, mirror-polished Mexican geodes to colorful agates, crystal hearts, and palm stones, we choose pieces we love and would be excited to have in our own collection.
Our shop is named in honor of Gideon, a very special dog who was my first love. While he isn’t here to help us crack open the rocks, his memory and spirit run through everything we do. ❤️
