Note from shop owner HI there! I need a break...I have had a lot of family drama, my garden needs to be planted, and I am still tired from the Holidays. I will be out for two weeks, but When I return I hope to have a few new designs, a clean studio and a refreshment of supplies! I need a Spring Break - without the beach ;)

Did you know that it takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds for sunlight to reach the Earth? So the light you see outside your window at sunrise is already 8 minutes 20 seconds old.... And if you purchase any one of my items, the sunlight casting through them will, naturally, be 8 minutes and 20 seconds old!

I first learned how to make stained glass images back in 1988 when I was in Middle School. I have loved doing it ever since, despite a few pauses in creating for my college years and having children. But I have long since finished college and my children are getting older, so it is finally back to doing what I love....making art from stained glass.

I have purchased stained glass suncatchers online in the past and while they may look nice online, when they arrived, they were flimsy and fragile. I make my glass strong and reinforce items where needed so that one dry suction cup later, you aren't cursing the broken piece you bought awhile back. Glass is fragile, and it can break, but things do not have to fall apart because the artist was cheap with soldering or wire reinforcement. That is what I promise my buyers. I make for you what *I* would want to buy.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I will refund a payment for an item within 30 days of purchase if:

--You are not satisfied with the item
--The item is broken and you do not wish for me to repair it

The item MUST be sent back to me, return shipping incurred by the purchaser with insurance.

IF the item is broken upon delivery, you have the option of sending it back (you pay for return shipping) and I will repair it at no cost to you. I will also pay for the shipping back to you once the repair is complete.

If the item is somehow lost in the mail, and no delivery conformation can be found by fault of the USPS, I will refund your purchase.

After 30 days from the purchase of your item, I will offer no refunds, exchanges or free repairs if dammage or loss occurs after delivery.

After saying all this, I take extra care in shipping items to prevent breakage or loss. I also take extra care in making my items so that they are sturdy and have a very LONG life. I have had suncatchers that looked nice but were as flimsy as cheap fabric. I make my product differently.
Payment
I accept paypal, etsy gift cards and credit card payments.

If you purchase a piece, and decide before I have shipped, that you do not wish to buy it after all, no problem. Just please let me know within 3 days of purchase before I ship via email. After 3 days, and no word from you, I will consider the sale valid and not issue a refund.
Shipping
I will ship your item to you within 1-3 business days via USPS Priority Mail. I have included insurance and delivery confirmation in my shipping price.

I do NOT, will NOT ship internationally. I cannot track an item if it leaves the country via USPS. So I will have no idea if it gets to you or in what condition.
Additional policies and FAQs
I can and do take custom orders for suncatchers. If there is an image or pattern you like, please contact me and we can work out an arrangement.

For small suncatchers and items I do not charge for making a pattern. If you come to me with a pattern you want, I will not charge a drafting fee for making said pattern.

If you have an idea of what you would like for a larger piece (over 2 square feet), but need me to compose a unique pattern for you, I require a $30-75 deposit for my time in doing so (price is determined by complexity and size). Pattern drafting is time consuming. However, as the customer, your input as to what you would like and any changes you would like is of no additional charge.

My custom pricing for unique projects goes as follows:

Simple Geometric design (1-50 pieces) $60/sq ft.
Simple Organic/unique design (51-70 pieces) $90/sq ft

Mid-Range Geometric Designs (71-85 pieces) $100/sq. ft
Mid Range Original Designs (71-90 pieces) $125/sq ft.

LARGER (2 to 4 square feet)
Geometric Complex (91-110 pieces) $150 sq/ft
Original Complex (110-150 Pieces) $175 sq/ft
MIXED construction copper foil & Lead Came: $225/ sq ft. and UP depending on size.
