The story began with the first tiny ray of light of sunrise, which touched the amber on the coast of the Baltic Sea. It was like a warm miracle, twinkling star or the kiss of the mother…Mother Nature.
The story of G Lighthouse is something like that. My most favorite things in the world are sports, sea and handcrafting. So once in the summer morning while doing my usual jogging routine along Baltic Sea shore, I paid attention to a piece of driftwood – its shape was amazing! Like a true piece of art! Cozy sunrise lighting, amber colors of the surrounding nature and this curly wooden object – all this together provided such an inspiring composition, that I took driftwood in my hands without even knowing for which purpose. But at the same moment I saw the lighthouse far away, and the puzzle came clear – driftwood + art + light.
So my hobby began.
The G Lighthouse driftwood lamps are created in the small city just on the Baltic Sea coast – Carnikava. My family owns a house there; you should come and visit us for a cup of the tea someday;))
But if you do not have such an opportunity, but would like to feel Baltics velvet atmosphere, by imagining how it is – to breathe the air full of the scents of pine trees, to step barefoot on the white sand coasts, to hear the cries of seagulls – you can become an owner of one of the G Lighthouse lamps. I put all my love and the power of nature in each and every driftwood creation I make and I believe, that it will bring light in your house and in your heart!

5 out of 5 starsThe box arrived very beat up, but thankfully nothing appears damaged. I haven’t hung the chandelier yet as the space isn’t quite ready, but the appearance right out of the box is so beautiful and unique! It’s exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait to get hung in our beach cottage!

5 out of 5 starsAfter purchasing a large driftwood lamp from Glighthouse, we contacted the creator to see if he could make a smaller matching one for a different part of the room. We were so happy that they were interested to make a second, and they took on board our ideas and requirements and came back with another beautiful lamp. We asked for some small changes to be made and they were happy to make them before sending. I would strongly recommend this shop to anyone interested in custom driftwood furniture. (photo is before installation and doesn't include the Edison style bulb).

In just a couple of weeks they had found a piece of driftwood and sent us pictures of the item in progress. We are now delighted with our lamp, which arrived soon after.
