This is one of many orders with GoGoSnap. Love them, and coordinating larger cards. Clients ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS comment on them. My intent is that my business be remembered, and I know many of these are displayed on the desks and fridges of clients. Julie is SUPER to deal with, accurate and fast. The quality, rich color and texture of these cards are excellent.

About

GoGoSnap! Thoroughly modern vintage design

GOGOSNAP! VINTAGE WEDDING INVITATIONS
Welcome to GoGoSnap, a shop filled with vintage wedding invitations, Save the Dates and vintage inspired business cards!

My name is Julie Fisher and when I was about ten years old, I would sit with my Grandmother in her kitchen and watch old film noirs. I knew I loved everything old. I would rummage through her book shelves and read Gone with the Wind and her Emily Post Etiquette books cover to cover. I have been collecting vintage paper for over half my life.

Having spent most of my career designing for the "modern" client, I woke up one day and decided two things:

To be my own boss
To do something with all that antique paper

I started GoGoSnap! with my vintage-loving, budget-minded girlfriends as target clientele. One was getting married and could not find an invitation that suited her aesthetic. She said "I don't want pretty type on a white background"-- that's not me. I want color, drama and something that evokes the 1920's--all for a few hundred bucks." And that's how my first wedding invitation was conceived.

I design a look based on a rare piece of ephemera from my collection or from a piece that just inspires me. It might be a finial from old sheet music, a flourish from a Victorian tin can. I choose typefaces that convey a specific time frame, but also like to make sure they are warm and romantic. I try and stay clear of cliches, rather, mix it up a smidgen and be unexpected!

I hope my work embodies the spirit and ideology of the past while using modern day printing methods and paper. I hope my wedding invitations convey a non-traditional, colorful way to tie the knot and my business cards, a quirky way for You to call yourself You!

Thank you for visiting my vintage correspondence shop. I hope you will be thrilled with your purchase! Please feel free to ask any questions. I will try my best to help.

[PRINTING]
I print my paper goods on a Heidelburg printing press, not a digital or laser printer. Offset printing is often called offset lithography. 99% of my cards are printed on the Heidelberg, which is why my ink quality is excellent. My cards use real printing inks and not toners which is what digital printing uses.

[THE PROCESS]
Save the Dates/Business cards:
Check out with the listing you like. You will receive your full color pdf proofs via email within 24 hours. Your purchase comes with three rounds of revisions, and any revisions after that are charged at $20 each. Once you officially approve your design, cards take 10-12 business days for printing and trimming + shipping time.

Wedding Invitation suites:
Purchase the $100 deposit. At check out, be sure to let me know:

-- the items you would like to order
-- quantity of each (50 minimum)
-- your wedding date

You will receive your full color pdf proofs via email within 24 hours. Your purchase comes with three rounds of revisions, and any revisions after the first three are charged at $20 each. Once you officially approve your design, your final balance is due.

DELIVERY
Your custom printed invitations take about 2-3 weeks for production and another 2-3 business days for the mail in the US and 6-10 business days internationally. You will be notified with a tracking number exactly the moment your invitations are packed up and shipped.

Order early, things happen!
You may have misspelled your Mother-in-Law's name, or perhaps your package was held in customs for four weeks.

[PROOFING]
I will email you a proof of your cards AFTER you check out. Included in your price are THREE rounds of revisions. For any revisions after that, I charge $20 per revision. I hope you understand. Anything I deem out of scope for normal revisions (text changes, spacing) will be charged based on the depth of the change requested.

You are 100% responsible for proofing your own products. I do my best to catch typos and grammatical errors, but my eye is also on the design. Therefore, you are 100% responsible. I do not offer refunds for mistakes you miss.

Proofing on an iPhone or iPad is not recommended and results in iTypos.

[SAMPLES]
I strongly recommend you purchase a sample prior to officially ordering invitations. It's the only way to see and feel what your finished invitation will look like. I do not accept returns or give refunds if you are unhappy with the paper or printing quality unless I personally made an error. Please order samples so you know exactly what the quality will be like when you receive your own order. Please also note that I rarely ever use a straight solid color on anything. I adore the weathered feel of old paper and almost every one of my designs has a nice "vintage" texture to it. You will see lots of little weathered imperfections in the backgrounds unless you tell me not too:]

[CANCELLATION POLICY]
If you cancel your order AFTER you have received your proofs via email, there will be a 50% cancellation fee because of the work involved designing your proofs for business cards. For wedding invitations, it will be $50 - $100 depending on how much work I have already done. If you officially approved your design and need revisions after I have already sent it into pre-production, there will be a $20 - $50 change fee as I have already begun getting your files ready for press. This is not just my charge, but my Printer's charge so I will have to pass it on to you. If your item is already being printed and on the press, then it is too late to change or cancel. If you officially approved your design and it has gone to press. I am not responsible for paying your reprint fees. Again, my eye is on the design and need YOU to proofs your own pieces.

[BRIDEZILLA POLICY]
I try very hard to be as flexible as possible to ensure my client's happiness for her special and joyous occasion. If a Bridezilla enters our working relationship, I reserve the right to cancel our contract immediately. This clause also applies to Mohzillas (Maids of Honors) and Mobzillas (Mothers of Brides).

[DELIVERIES]
Please make sure that the address you have listed with Etsy is correct; this is where I will ship your package unless you specify a different shipping address during checkout. If the USPS has given us bonafide delivery status, I am not responsible for any packages lost or stolen from your doorstep, porch or lobby. I will gladly replace your missing items as quickly as humanly possible, but you are financially responsible for replacement as I have no control over what happens outside your home:]

Moreover, I send you notice the moment I put your package in the mail and the estimated transit time. If you do not receive your package after my estimated transit time, it is YOUR responsibility to let me know you have not received it. If you wait several weeks to tell me your package has not arrived, there is very little I can do to help you find it. You would have to pay for reprinting and a new package.

[GUEST ADDRESSING]
I believe all guests invitations should be addressed by hand for a personal touch, and not by machine. I'm a stickler on that one! It is not a service I offer. There are TONS of gorgeous Calligraphers on Etsy.

[TURNAROUND TIME]
In-stock items: (like Thank You notes): 1-2 business days to ship
Custom Printed Orders:
UNITED STATES: three weeks
OUTSIDE US: four weeks, not including any packages held at customs

[OUTSIDE ART FILES]
It is my policy to not utilize any client's design files other than my own. Since I did not create them originally, I cannot guarantee the final output of them. I hope you understand. I'm just a stickler for high quality and a bit of a control freak:]

[SELLING DIGITAL FILES]
I do not sell any digital files of my work. I adore the printing process and it is part of my life.

[COLOR]
I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of my products that appear on Etsy. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, I cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate. I do not offer refunds so ordering samples prior to ordering your full invitation suite is strongly recommended. I do not offer refunds or discounts because the listing may appear slightly different than what you received. Order a sample. Period! But please read my feedback if you are worried about the quality. I think you'll be pleased with the final product.

Please note, that many designs are very complicated and completely tinted by hand. If you require major color revisions, charges may incur as this can take several hours.

[FONTS]
I have purchased professional versions of all my typefaces. I do not download free fonts from the internet as they are often times not suitable for professional printing. I prefer to use my own fonts. If you have a font that you would like to use that I do not have, I may or may not be able to use it depending on the format and quality.

Shipping
[DOMESTIC]
I ship via USPS Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days in the US, and 6-10 everywhere else. Shipping includes insurance and tracking.

Please make sure that the address you have listed with Etsy is correct; this is where I will ship your package unless you specify a different shipping address during checkout. If the USPS has given us bonafide delivery status, I am not responsible for any packages lost or stolen from your doorstep, porch or lobby. I will gladly replace your missing items as quickly as humanly possible, but you are financially responsible for replacement as I have no control over what happens on your porch:]

[INTERNATIONAL]
Import duties and VAT taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the BUYER'S responsibility as they are randomly imposed as tax by your country.

Shipping outside of the US can take an average of 6-10 business days. This is not a guarantee, but an estimate, and DOES NOT include time spent in customs. I am not responsible for any shipping delays due to customs, which may take up to an additional 6 weeks or more. Please look into the customs and import policies of your country before placing your order. I do not refund any orders due to customs or shipping delays. Order early, things happen!

Moreover, if you ask me to indicate a much lower value on your package to avoid VAT, you are responsible for replacing your items at full replacement value cost in the event they are lost or damaged. Marking the correct value ensures that neither of us lose money in the case of loss. Insurance will ONLY cover what I indicate, therefore, it's up to you if you really want to take that chance.
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds are only available if an item is flawed or has been damaged in shipment. I am not responsible for any typos or misinformation that was printed on your card after you give me an approval.

You are 100% responsible for printing out the proofs I send you and making sure you are 100% happy with the type size and spelling. Your proof size should exactly measure the size that is stated in the listing. If you have a lot of copy, the type will be small... please remember that when you approve your designs.

The best way to ensure you will be happy with your wedding invitations is to order a sample. That is the ONLY way you will know exactly what your invitations will look and feel like. I try hard to photograph my invitations as they are printed. Please order samples so you know exactly what the paper feels like and the color prints like. I do not offer refunds on invitation orders.

Once you have approved your proofs and the production process has been started, you cannot cancel your order or get a refund.

For customized items such as business cards, wedding invitations, menus, Order of Service etc, there is a cancellation fee of 25% of your total order once your proofs have been emailed to you.

The cancellation fee, or kill fee, is charged because of the time I spend designing your custom proofs. When you place an order in my Shop, I immediately begin working on your personalized proofs.

Frequently asked questions

What type of printing do you do?

I print my paper goods on a Heidelburg printing press, not a digital or laser printer. Offset printing is often called offset lithography. My cards use real printing inks and not toners which is what digital printing uses. Real inks just set into the paper deeper and richer, they are not shiney like digital printing tends to be.

And because my designs are based on the 1800's - 1930's, I print them in the way they were printed during that time. Therefore, your invitations really will have that high quality, vintage feel to them.

Custom and personalized orders

Once you go through the check out, you can fill in all the wording you want in the "message to GoGoSnap" section. Once you do that, you will receive your proofs via the EMAIL you have on file with Etsy within 24 hours.

Your purchase comes with three rounds of revisions. Any revisions after the first three are charged at $20 per revision. Once you officially approve your design, your cards take 2-3 weeks for production and another 2-3 business days for the mail within the US or 6-10 outside.

Custom and personalized orders

Because every bride and groom is so unique, it's almost impossible to order invitations with just a click of a button. All of my pricing is posted in every single listing. If you are using your smart phone, you just have to scroll a bit. But you can always ask me for a detailed quote!

Save the Dates:
Order with a click of the button. Literally. These you can just choose from the drop down menu.

For pricing, scroll down in each listing and I promise you will see pricing. You are also welcome to copy and paste into your browser my full pricing guide:

Can I order samples??

Please do! I am a paper hoarder and I would love to clean out my closets. But seriously, ordering a physical sample is the ONLY way to see, feel, touch what your final product will look like. There are so many variables and stress factors associated with planning a wedding, ordering a physical sample will eliminate a lot of that stress:

Are custom colors available?

Besides being a paper hoarder, I am a color addict and love coordinating my designs to your wedding palette. Submitting a digital swatch or mood board with your order helps me greatly. But please confirm before you place your order just to make sure your color vision will work with whichever design you choose.

Do you sell digital files of your wedding invitations?

I do not sell any digital files of my work. I adore the printing process and it is part of my life. And because my designs are based on the 1800's - 1930's, I print them in the way they were printed during that time. Therefore, your invitations really will have that high quality, vintage feel to them.
