Photography for Pollinator Conservation
Go Hive Yourself started in 2015 as a beekeeping company.
After studying honeybees and the plight of insects, I shifted my company's focus to habitat restoration (rewilding) for urban landscapes.
I am a self-taught nature and wildlife photographer from Bend, Oregon. I experiment with traditional and artistic photography without the assistance of AI. My work covers various subjects, from macro (insects and flowers) to landscape. As an artist, I aim to capture flickers in time and beauty from the natural world to build a bridge from humans to nature.
I sell my art and photography to raise money and purchase wildflower seeds for anyone within the Central Oregon community who wants to participate in supporting ecological balance in their landscape.
In addition to photography, I have been practicing and studying regenerative landscape methods as an attainable solution for insect and pollinator habitat restoration in an urban environment.
